HELP DESK TECHNICIAN
The Indian Community School is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the students, staff, and faculty at our K4 through 8th grade school.
Responsibilities include responding to user requests for assistance with hardware, software, networks and event set-up. Prioritizes and tracks service requests/incident reports. Handles problem identification, research, resolution and analysis of all help desk activity. Works with vendors regarding defective products, warranties, support, sales and training.
Also tests software/hardware, trains users and installs hardware/software including A/V equipment. Writes software and hardware evaluations and training manuals/procedures including exercises and visual displays. Analyzes incident reports, makes recommendations to improve efficiency/functionality and the utilization of outside resources.
Position requires an Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combiation of education and experience. IT experience in an education setting and direct help desk responsibilities preferred.
