Welcome to our Fabulous Four-Year Old
Kindergarten Class!

I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into my classroom. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Angelia Romanos, and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I have been a part of the Indian Community School family for 23 years, 21 years as an Early Childhood Educator. I graduated with a Bachelor degree from Alverno College in Elementary Education with a Minor in Early Childhood Education. I also completed my Master degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, fishing, camping and spending time with my husband Mike and our 9 year-old son, William.

                         My Thoughts on Learning:

My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique therefore, each child learns   differently. One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work with them to maximize it. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively and learning through play. I am really looking forward to a
fun–filled and educational year! If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call, send a note  or e-mail.
