Licsened Clinical Social Worker
August 26, 2015
Hi my name is Nicole Lewandowski. The 2015-2016 school year marks my fourth year of working for Indian Community School. My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am also a Liscensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certifed Master Fornesic Social Worker.
In my role as social worker I offer support to students who are referred by parents, staff, or by self referral. I meet with teachers, administrators and other school staff to determine the best way to meet the needs of students who may be struggling behaviorally, emotionally, or socially at school. My responsibilities include weekly instructional sessions of the Second Step curriculum in one classroom at every grade level and assisting students and families who are struggling with daily school attendance. I also work with children and families in other manners thoughout the school year.
In my personal life I am married and have two daughers Kaitlyn (7), and Karleigh (4). I spend my free time reading, spending time with my family, or hanging out with friends.
I look forward to working with all families throughout the year. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
