Curriculum
The curriculum at Indian Community School has been developed with Native cultures at its core. Reading and the other language arts, math, social studies, science, physical education, music and art are all designed to meet or exceed both state and national standards. The goal of all instruction is to actively engage students in learning that is meaningful.
In addition to an academic curriculum integrated with culture and the seven core values (Bravery, Love, Truth, Wisdom, Humility, Loyalty and Respect), students receive language instruction in Ojibwe, Menominee and Oneida. They also have the opportunity to participate in many cultural activities at the school.
